AUSTRALIA. Heinemann Australia has opened a Longchamp boutique at Sydney Airport, a first for the brand in Australian travel retail.
The 97sq m store is located in the luxury area of the Heinemann Tax & Duty Free store in Terminal 1. The French luxury leathergoods company takes its place alongside international designer names such as Fendi, Salvatore Ferragamo, Bally and Ermenegildo Zegna and leading Australian brands.
The Longchamp store offers year-round and seasonal collections, with the women’s Spring Summer 2017 range available now.
Design features such as the store entrance and zig-zag wall furniture incorporate the concept of ‘movement’, embodying “the artisanal skill of both architecture and leather bags”.
Heinemann Australia Managing Director Constantin Wiesmann commented: “We are proud to be partnering with Longchamp and excited about continuously elevating the travel retail experience at Sydney Airport.”
