Longines names Kate Winslet as the face of new eyewear campaign

According to the brand, Kate Winslet embodies the brand’s ‘refined and elegant aesthetic’

Longines Eyewear has tapped Academy Award and Oscar-winning British actress Kate Winslet to be the face of its new global eyewear campaign.

Kate Winslet is best-known for her roles in films such as ‘Titanic’, ‘The Reader’, and ‘Revolutionary Road’.

In the striking campaign, Winslet is seen wearing three Longines Eyewear styles. The oversized and feminine silhouettes feature the brand’s signature dial motif, dial hands detail and laser-printed logo.

The new eyewear styles are produced in collaboration with Marcolin Group. They are now available in Longines’ boutiques and selected opticians worldwide.

Longines is distributed in travel retail by parent company The Swatch Group.

The collection is characterised by key Longines design codes: the watch dial hands, dial motif, and laser printed logo

The first Longines eyewear style offers an oversized feminine aviator shape in a lightweight metal frame. It features exclusive Zeiss lenses and Longines’ watch dial motif, watch dial hands and logo on the temples.

The second sunglasses stye comes in a feminine rounded metal frame with  Zeiss lenses and Longines’ watch dial hands motif and laser-printed logo.

The third and final style offers an oversized rounded silhouette in a vintage-inspired acetate frame. It comes in a gradient navy colourway and is decorated with the watch dial hands motif and Longines’ laser-printed logo.
