CHINA (MACAU). Global beauty and wellbeing house L’OCCITANE Group has launched a sustainable range of limited-edition holiday sets in partnership with luxury travel retailer DFS Group. The exclusive sets are available in a special holiday pop-up at T Galleria by DFS, Macau, Galaxy Macau.
Customers can buy the limited-edition sets in bright Christmas packaging at the pop-up, enjoy a photo booth experience and a WeChat AR mobile game.
Following the pop-up’s theme of ‘Happy holidays from our little-known crafters!’, shoppers are encouraged to search for ‘crafter characters’ all over the activation space, scan their QR codes and take a selfie with them in the photo booth. Visitors who share the selfies on social media can redeem a small gift from L’OCCITANE en Provence.
“We’re very grateful to both DFS and The Promenade Shops, Galaxy Macau, for their support on this impactful pop-up store,” commented L’OCCITANE Group Travel Retail Asia Pacific General Manager Estelle de Bure. “Through the art of giving, we hope that everyone can create wonderful memories with their loved ones to cherish for years to come.”
DFS Group Senior Vice President Beauty Amael Blain said: “We are pleased to partner with L’OCCITANE on this festive pop-up to celebrate the splendour and surprise of the season, while bringing our customers several exciting and exclusive travel retail sets to share with loved ones over the holidays.”
L’OCCITANE en Provence’s limited-edition holiday collection features a selection of fragrance gifts designed to trigger happy memories during the festive season. Some product highlights include the travel retail-exclusive Holiday Shea Butter Hand Cream Duo, which supports female Shea Butter producers in Burkina Faso.
The limited-edition Shea Winter Walks set is another highlight and features seasonal fig, sandalwood and musk olfactory notes. It features exclusive holiday packaging in playful designs, created by French artist Tristan Bonnermain.
The holiday range also features two advent calendars, the Classic and The Premium, which are full of fragrance and skincare goodies. The Classic contains the brand’s verbena and almond shower products, alongside Immortelle face and hand creams.
Meanwhile, The Premium offers L’OCCITANE en Provence’s best-selling hand creams, haircare products and face creams as well as one exclusive fragrance and a surprise makeup product. It features a delicate design with gold foil stamping.
L’OCCITANE’s holiday travel retail line was developed to respect biodiversity and minimise waste. The packaging utilises no plastic and all the paper and cardboard used have been sustainably sourced. The pop-up’s merchandising displays are made with recyclable materials and obtained from sustainably-managed forests.
Globally, L’Occitane Group has reduced its plastic consumption by -82% compared to the holiday offer in 2020.
