Lucie Greene is the latest speaker to join the Beauty Tech Live Knowledge Hub programme, with more names to be announced soon

INTERNATIONAL. Light Years Founder and CEO Lucie Greene is the latest leading beauty tech industry figure to join the speaker lineup for Beauty Tech Live, set for 12-16 April.

Greene is a trend forecaster and strategist who specialises in analysing and forecasting cultural trends, customer insights and brand innovation.

She is the founder of New York-based futures, research and brand strategy practice Light Years, where she has worked with many global lifestyle brands. She also advises venture capital and start-up companies on strategy, research and innovation.

She most recently led J. Walter Thompson’s (JWT) global futures think-tank JWT Intelligence, where she helped drive research into emerging consumer behaviours and lifestyle trends. She also led JWT Intelligence units around the world and consulted many of JWT’s Fortune 500 clients.

Greene is also an award-winning author. She published her debut book ‘Silicon States: The Power and Politics of Big Tech and What it Means for Our Future’ in August 2018. The book received the 800-CEO-READ Business Book Award in Current Events and Public Affairs in 2018.

She also regularly appears as an expert on trends and insights across several international news channels such as BBC, Fox News, CBS, CNBC and Bloomberg.

Greene is also a regular contributor to The Guardian, The New York Daily News, Sunday Times Style UK, The Financial Times and Campaign.

The Beauty Tech environment has been curated by Singapore, London and Hong Kong agency FILTR to reflect the progressive, hi-tech nature of the sector

Beauty Tech Live is a pioneering virtual event that will showcase the joint worlds of beauty and technology. It is the first virtual expo of its kind in the sector, bringing together the latest tech innovations and solutions across all stakeholders in the beauty industry.

The event is being organised by the newly formed Moodie Davitt Virtual Expo Company in partnership with leading B2B beauty title BW Confidential.
