Leonidas celebrates autumn with limited edition Truffle Festival assortment

Belgian chocolatier Leonidas aims to “banish the end of summer blues” with its limited edition collection Truffle Festival.

The 8-piece assortment features three new limited edition truffles specially made by the Leonidas Maître Chocolatier for Truffle Festival.

The limited-edition selection of 18 truffles offers a mix of new truffles and tried-and-tested favourites. The sleek, contemporary packaging was designed with gifting in mind.

The Almond Praliné Truffle is a dark chocolate shell filled with almond praline cream and coated with caramelised pecan pieces. The milk chocolate shell of the Salted Caramel Truffle is coated with feuilletine and filled with soft salted caramel. The Souble Lait Truffle has a smooth milk chocolate shell finished with flakes of nougatine.

Two “truffle favourites” are also included. Raspberry pearl features raspberry ganache and a milk chocolate shell. Coconut-flavoured cream is coated with white chocolate and finished with dried coconut flakes to create the Coco Pearl.

Leonidas commented: “The delicious texture and flavour combinations of the 18-piece Leonidas Truffle Festival invite the shopper to explore a universe of luxurious truffles or present a unique gift to family or friends from the preferred Belgian chocolatier.”

The company added that the Leonidas Truffle Festival collection was released into travel retail last month and supported by in-store sampling activities.
