Lamar wins ten-year advertising concession at John Wayne Airport

USA. Out-of-home media company Lamar Advertising has been awarded the ten-year advertising concession for Southern California’s John Wayne Airport.

Lamar said the airport’s new advertising programme will include a variety of high impact static and digital media formats. Digital advertising displays will be greatly expanded throughout the terminals, the company said.

John Wayne Airport handled over 10 million passengers in 2017, serving more than 20 destinations in the USA, Canada and Mexico

Lamar operates advertising concessions at 22 airports across the USA. “We’re excited to partner with Orange County and John Wayne Airport as this new programme grows to its full potential,” said Lamar Advertising CEO Sean Reilly.

Director of Airport Business Development Shauna Forsythe added: “Lamar’s multi-million dollar investment at John Wayne will create a compelling environment for advertisers.

“New digital networks throughout the terminals, wayfinding, interactive displays, sponsorships and marketing/branding packages have been thoughtfully integrated to create both traveller engagement and solid advertising opportunities.”
