Lagardère Travel Retail to showcase French expertise in “real living spaces” after winning ten-restaurant Paris Orly contract

FRANCE. Groupe ADP has awarded Lagardère Travel Retail a contract to operate 10 new restaurants at Paris Orly Airport.

A strong focus will be placed on Parisian brands, while Lagardère Travel Retail is working with architecture and design agency Versions to create a food hall the company likens to a “living space”.

La Rotonde Bellevilloise, created in association with Parisian group Cultplace, is described as a “trendy bar with a travelling theme”, while Le Bistrot Christophe Adam is a gastropub offering “inventive” cuisine. It has been created exclusively for the airport by Lagardère Travel Retail’s Foodservice business and the TV chef.

Another Parisian brand, Eric Kayser, will offer an artisanal bakery experience, while Cojean will provide a healthy eating option in the Air France shuttle area of the airport.

Lagardère Travel Retail will also open healthy fast-casual ‘grab-and-go’ restaurant Exki. The new restaurants will be progressively unveiled to passengers from 2021.

“We wanted to work alongside Groupe ADP to help make the new Orly a showcase for Parisian foodservice and so promote French expertise,” said Lagardère Travel Retail France & Luxembourg Managing Director Vincent Romet.

“We wanted to offer a balanced portfolio of concepts which stand out both for their high level of quality, their strong commitment to social and environmental responsibility, and their resolutely innovative spirit, to ensure that passengers have a memorable experience.

“These future restaurants are real living spaces, suitable for offering the best experience and the best service to all passengers at the airport.”
