Lagardère Travel Retail to make debut at Nelson Airport’s new terminal

NEW ZEALAND. Lagardère Travel Retail is to make its debut at Nelson Airport with The Nelson Store. The 145sq m store will be the only speciality retail offer in a new terminal, phase one of which opens in October.

The Nelson Store will be a dedicated destination merchandise store, offering travel essentials and a selection of gifts and souvenirs, gourmet produce and wine. It will draw on products from the Nelson/Tasman region and across New Zealand, said the retailer. The store design will incorporate a “true sense of the South Island,” added Lagardère Travel Retail.

Nelson Airport CEO Rob Evans said: “Lagardère Travel Retail is a proven world-class airport retailer and we are thrilled they have agreed to join us in this wonderful new airport experience. I am sure our customers are going to enjoy the wide range of retail products on offer and the true local essence the store will bring.”
