CZECH REPUBLIC. Lagardère Travel Retail has unveiled a new restaurant in Prague Main Railway Station. Named Masarycka, the menu features traditional Czech cuisine with the capacity to serve up to 500 meals a day.
Operated by Lagardère Travel Retail’s Czech Republic team, the bespoke concept restaurant is located in the former premises of Císařská Restaurace (Imperial Restaurant). Its interior strikes a balance between traditional and modern design.
The Pilsner Urquell brand – the well-known Czech beer brewed in Plzeň, Czech Republic – is strongly represented in Masarycka.
The restaurant – which offers a menu created by chef Marek Hosnedl – offers guests the ability to order and pay for their meals online, via the use of a QR code on the venue’s tables.
Lagardère Travel Retail operates several restaurants in Prague, including the Rychlík (also at Prague Main Railway Station) and the Pilsner Urquell Original Restaurants at Václav Havel Airport and at the train station.
Opened in 1871, Prague Main Railway Station is the oldest and largest passenger railway station in the Czech Republic.
