GERMANY. Lagardère Travel Retail has opened a Marktcafé BRE outlet at Bremen Airport in Germany.
Marktcafé, which also has locations at Salzburg and Graz airports, offers food for ‘nutrition- conscious’ customers. The menu features a selection of coffees and teas, hot chocolate, fruit salads, smoothies and fresh juices. Hot dishes include focaccia and tarte flambée variations and an assortment of pastries and sandwiches are also available.
Lagardère Travel Retail Germany, Austria and Slovenia CEO Thomas Wiesel said: ”Our new café has seating for about 65 people and will offer the right range of food & beverage for tourists, commuters or business travellers. Our guests will enjoy the pleasant atmosphere combined with a service-orientated team and typical ´Bremen hospitality´”.
Wiesel added: “While preparing the choice of ingredients for our delicious food and drinks we care about the best quality and absolute freshness. The rolls are, for example, made according to our in-house recipes and, of course, always freshly delivered every day.”
Marktcafé BRE’s design is inspired by the historic city of Bremen and its Schnoor quarter. The eatery has a seating corner with plug sockets and window seats overlooking the runway.
“Our overall concept is designed to offer all our guests an atmospheric ambience at all times of the day. Whether with a cup of coffee in the morning or a glass of wine in the evening, at Marktcafé BRE our guests should always feel comfortable,” noted Wiesel.
