Plenty of notable Swiss artists joined the Bauhaus School during its heyday. Some of these well-known alumni include artist Paul Klee, expressionist painter Jahaness Itten, architect and industrial designer Max Bill, and photographer and theatre designer Alexander Schawinsky.
