Swiss skincare specialist La Prairie has unveiled a month-long installation at Macau MGM Cotai to celebrate the latest addition to its popular Skin Caviar line.
La Prairie launched the original Skin Caviar 30 years ago and it remains a best-seller today. Caviar extract is a key ingredient in the moisturiser’s formula.
The new Skin Caviar Luxe Cream Remastered, explained the brand, offers increased lifting and firming. This is achieved in part by a scientifically enhanced caviar extract, which the brand named Caviar Premier.
From 9 December to 7 January, visitors to Macau MGM Cotai can explore an immersive installation designed to teach customers about the new product.
In partnership with DFS, La Prairie has taken over 84sq m of MGM Cotai with an eye-catching activation that is one of its largest to date. Visitors will be invited to explore various “chapters” of the Skin Caviar story, said the brand.
The first section focuses on the science and innovation behind Skin Caviar, both the original (developed in 1987) and Remastered formulas. The second explores the design of the range including the original jar, which remains unchanged today. Visitors are then invited to experience the Skin Caviar Luxe Cream Remastered for themselves with an Art of Perfection – Indulgence skincare treatment.
On 8 December, La Prairie held an exclusive preview event, inviting 200 clients of MGM Cotai and DFS to explore the activation ahead of it public opening. As well as sampling the skincare treatments, VIPs and their guests were offered Champagne and caviar and received individual gifts.
La Prairie said it was “delighted to offer the clients of MGM Cotai and DFS the privileged opportunity to experience the science, design and indulgence of caviar through this unique installation.”
