CHINA. Swiss prestige skincare house La Prairie partnered recently with China Duty Free Group (CDFG) to launch an exclusive luxury lounge at The Sanya EDITION Hotel.
The lounge experience ran from 1-29 October and celebrated the brand’s Platinum Rare Haute-Rejuvenation Protocol.
The Platinum Rare Hate-Rejuvenation Protocol is an intensive anti-ageing treatment that awakens the skin and reverses the signs of skin-aging.
It is exclusively available in CDFG stores in Hainan from October 2021 to March 2022.
The La Prairie lounge at The Sanya EDITION occupied a vast 300sq m space in a high-profile location on the hotel’s ground floor.
The lounge, which enjoyed vast ocean views, was inspired by the diamond-shaped packaging of La Prairie’s Platinum Rare line.
The experience began in the glass room, where guests discovered the Platinum Rare collection and learned about the science that powers La Prairie’s Haute-Rejuvenation Protocol.
Afterwards, they received one-to-one skincare consultations and product experiences within the lounge’s private and relaxing environment.
One of the lounge’s highlights was the immersive ‘Time Suspended’ room which illustrated the Platinum Rare line through a multi-sensorial experience.
The room featured an exclusive musical score by German-British composer Max Richter, which was commissioned by La Prairie.
At the end of the experience, guests were able continue to stay and relax in the lounge while enjoying a glass of champagne and a selection of Swiss chocolates.
Upon completing the experience, they were chauffeured via limousine to the neighbouring Sanya International Duty Free Shopping Complex to continue their shopping journey.

The Platinum Rare Haute-Rejuvenation Protocol
