KrisShop names Jason Lee as Chief Executive

SINGAPORE. KrisShop, the omnichannel retailer and inflight duty free shop for Singapore Airlines, has named Jason Lee as Chief Executive Officer.

He replaces Chris Pok, who has moved to a key new strategy role in the group. Pok played a key role in redefining KrisShop’s approach and positioning as a travel retailer over the past three years.

In his new role, Lee leads the company’s business strategy and organisational management.

With over a decade of experience in retail digitalisation and ecommerce across various markets in Asia, Lee will help drive the continued growth of the company’s flagship ecommerce platform, KrisShop.com, and steer innovation of its inflight offerings in the post-pandemic travel era.

Lee said, “We are in a new and exciting era of retail and travel, primed for growth and innovation. KrisShop’s successful transformation from an inflight duty free shop to a full-fledged omnichannel retailer in the past few years has allowed the company to maintain customer engagement by meeting them where they’re at with service excellence and a curated assortment of up-to-date products.

“I look forward to driving an integrated omnichannel approach and closing the gap between ecommerce and inflight retail to deliver a seamless shopping experience wherever our customers may be.”

Before joining KrisShop, Lee held senior roles with several leading companies including eBay.

He was most recently Group Chief Digital Officer at Wing Tai holdings where he oversaw the group’s digital transformation and led its online retail business.
