L’Oréal Travel Retail has opened two new Kiehl’s points-of-sale in travel retail, one at Rome Fiumicino Airport and the other onboard Tallink’s Megastar ferry.
The 17sq m space at Rome Fiumicino Airport is located at the entrance of the beauty store. The new shop-in-shop, said to reflect the DNA of the brand, references a New York apothecary.
Products such as Midnight Recovery Concentrate, Ultra Facial Cream, Facial fuel and Crème de corps are featured, as well as gifts and the famous Mr Bones.
On 29 January, Kiehl’s opened its first ferry store onboard the Megastar boat, which travels between Helsinki, Finland and Tallin, Estonia. Kiehl’s said initial results at the 18sq m store were “very promising” and the opening is an opportunity for the brand to increase awareness in Scandinavia.
Both locations feature Kiehl’s new Pure Vitality Skin Renewing Cream. The skincare product has a 99.6% natural formula and uses two of the world’s most powerful traditional medicine ingredients: Red Korean Ginseng and Manuka honey. Both are said to help boost skin’s natural resilience while fortifying the skin barrier layers to smooth creases and fine lines.
