Kering Eyewear unveils exclusive Cartier sunglasses for Ramadan

Cartier reveals a Middle East-exclusive sunglasses style in celebration of Ramadan
The sunglasses, originally from the Première de Cartier collection, is supported by a dedicated visual campaign in English and Arabic

French watch and fine jewellery house Cartier has revealed a regional-exclusive sunglasses style in celebration of Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr.

On 20 March, the style launched in the domestic markets and top travel retail doors of the Middle East, where it will be available until the end of April.

Ramadan is the ninth month of the Muslim calendar and is observed by Muslims worldwide as a month of fasting, reflection and community. Eid al-Fitr is a celebration to commemorate the end of Ramadan.

The sunglasses style comes from the Première de Cartier spring 2023 collection, a line which was first introduced in the 1980s as an expression of Cartier’s pioneering spirit and craftsmanship.

The exclusive style echoes the original Première de Cartier eyewear models with a modern twist. The acetate sunglasses have an elegant masculine shape embellished with Cartier’s signature Godron motif on the metal end pieces. It also features the Cartier C emblem as an ornament on the hinges.

Cartier’s double-C logo is engraved on the end tips, elevating the vintage feel of the all-black design with sleek platinum finishes and green lenses.

The sunglasses style is supported by a dedicated visual campaign. ✈
