AUSTRALIA. Jurlique is preparing to introduce a new travel retail exclusive collection. The sets, which were previewed at the recent TFWA World Exhibition in Cannes, will be available in the channel from January 2009.

“We have created a special new Jurlique travel retail exclusive “passport stamp” for all our new sets, to help travellers easily identify them,” Director International Marketing Terry Fung told The Moodie Report.

The new logo, which will be positioned prominently on the front of the sets, also declares the products to be “fresh picked from the farm for your travels”.

The new exclusives feature a selection of Jurlique’s best-selling products, namely its Rose Hand Cream, Herbal Recovery Gel, Exfoliating Cream and Wrinkle Softening Cream.

The packaging for each set is adorned with a different, distinctive flower, as photographed on Jurlique’s own farm in South Australia.

The Hand Picked Rose Hand Cream Duo set features 2 x 125ml references. The hand cream, described as lightweight yet protective, is said to moisturise and restore smoothness, leaving hands feeling soft and supple.

The Deep Cleansing Daily Exfoliating Cream Duo also contains 2 x 125ml references. The non-granular exfoliating cream is rich in oats, honey, and almonds, and leaves skin deeply cleansed, smooth and radiant, according to Jurlique.

The Biodynamic Farm Blend Herbal Recovery Gel Deluxe Duo contains a 100ml Herbal Recovery Gel and 15ml Herbal Recovery Eye Gel. Both are said to be enriched with Jurlique’s potent Biodynamic Blends to help restore the skin’s natural balance, leaving it luminous, smooth and radiant.

Lastly, the Wrinkle Softening Cream Duo features 2 x 40ml references. These are described as easily absorbed, rich-textured creams infused with the living energy of rose and marshmallow, which are blended with antioxidants to protect, nurture and soften the appearance of fine lines.

Looking ahead, Jurlique will extend its Biodynamic Beauty portfolio next April with an anti-ageing hand cream. Next year will also see the introduction of a new Day Cream, complete with a non-chemical SFP12.

In the second semester of 2009, Jurlique will introduce a new shower gel and body lotion line. And the company is working on a new product called Love Balm.

“This is a multi-purpose product that can be used in many ways, for example to soothe dry skin, or as a lip balm,” Fung explained. “This will be positioned as an entry-level item, and we hope it will attract new consumers to the Jurlique brand.”
