Jersey Mike’s Subs opens at Newark Liberty International Airport

Jersey Mike’s Subs is now serving its best-selling subs and sandwiches at Newark Liberty International Airport Terminal A

USA. Jersey Mike’s Subs has extended its travel retail footprint with the opening of an outlet at Newark Liberty International Airport Terminal A in partnership with F&B specialist Midfield Concession Enterprise. This is the first of four airport locations expected to open by early 2024.

Other outlets will open at New York LaGuardia Airport in Terminals B and C in the fall, and at William P. Hobby Airport in Houston in January/February 2024.

Jersey Mike’s Franchise Systems Inc. Business Development VP Brian O’Hagan said: “We are excited to partner with Midfield Concession Enterprise in opening our seventh airport Jersey Mike’s Subs location.”

Jersey Mike’s Subs operates at six other airports including Harry Reid International Airport in Las Vegas, Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, Orlando International Airport, Washington Dulles International Airport, Charlotte Douglas International Airport and Los Angeles International Airport.

Travellers are offered a flavourful selection of Jersey Mike’s best-selling subs 

Offering what it calls ‘A Sub Above’ experience, Jersey Mike’s is popular for its fresh sliced and fresh grilled subs. It features premium meats and cheeses that are sliced on the spot and piled high on in-store baked bread.

Their sandwiches are made with fresh vegetables – onions, lettuce and tomatoes – topped off with a zing of ‘the juice’, red wine vinegar and an olive oil blend. It also offers authentic cheesesteaks that are grilled fresh.

Founded in 1956, Jersey Mike’s Subs now operates some 2,500 locations nationwide.
