JCDecaux Transport takes top spot in Hong Kong out-of-home media survey

HONG KONG. JCDecaux Transport has been ranked number one ‘Out-of-Home (OOH) Media of the Year’ company in Hong Kong for 2018 in a survey of advertising decision makers and agency professionals.

It is the sixth time JCDecaux Transport has taken top honours in Marketing Magazine’s annual Media Benchmarking Survey.

Voting criteria included media creativity, media quality and sales services.

JCDecaux partnered with LVMH Group brands to exploit the largest interior digital media format ever seen at Hong Kong International Airport – dubbed Spectacular Digital.

As reported, JCDecaux launched the new ‘Spectacular Digital’ platform at Hong Kong International Airport earlier this year. It is a giant digital LED, measuring nearly 72 metres by 40.8 metres (nearly 3,000sq m), and displays pixels of 3mm quality, creating what the advertising concessionaire described as “an iconic communication space”.

“It is our great honour to receive this important industry recognition,” said JCDecaux Transport Hong Kong and Macau Managing Director Shirley Chan. “We are grateful to our advertisers and all business partners for their ongoing trust and support to all our outdoor advertising media in JCDecaux Transport.

“We will continue to invest in physical assets, systems, data and content, and with these, JCDecaux Transport is striving to reach new heights and offer advertisers unbeatable OOH solutions and extraordinary experience for our customers.”
