Izipizi strengthens travel retail presence with new inflight and cruise line listings

French eyewear brand Izipizi, represented in travel retail by Belgian commercial agency Blue Storks, is growing its footprint with new inflight and cruise line listings.

Izipizi’s new foldable sunglasses will be listed in the coming months with Iberia and Air France. The brand has also recently confirmed a new partnership with MSC Cruises in Europe and the USA.

Blue Storks said Izipizi’s products meet the needs of today’s travellers. Blue Storks added that the brand’s new range offers a strong concept for inflight sales, which underlines its quality, price (€30) and lifestyle packaging.

Eyeing new opportunities: Izipizi has secured new inflight listings with Air France and Iberia.

Izipizi, previously known as See-Concept, aims to transform cheap reading glasses into a “trendy concept” with a fashionable look. The brand’s products include sunglasses and screen protective glasses for adults and children. Izipizi’s design is described as “chic and sober”, with a focus on a selective distribution network and affordable prices.

In travel retail the brand’s products are available in over 50 locations, including Paris Charles de Gaulle, Amsterdam Schiphol and Hong Kong airports. Global retail partners include Dufry and Lagardère Travel Retail and Izipizi recently opened new POS units with Gateleven in Portugal and Welcome Trading in Vienna.

Underlining its French roots: Izipizi opened its flagship store in Paris last year.


“It is a must-have for all retailers,” Blue Storks said. “Thanks to its self-service unit, Izipizi is one of the most profitable brands per square metre in our portfolio.”

Last year Izipizi opened its flagship store in Le Marais in Paris.
