UK. Christine Martin, the Founder of the Inflight Sales Person of the Year Awards (ISPY) and the ISPY Academy, has joined Ethos Farm as Director of Business Development.
She has joined Ethos Farm to boost the company’s learning and development sector. Ethos Farm is a consultancy offering staff engagement and training solutions to the global travel retail industry and elsewhere.
The ISPY Awards were founded more than 23 years ago to celebrate aircraft cabin crew working in inflight duty free sales. In 2017, ISPY expanded to cover staff working in airport duty free and travel retail, border stores and cruise ships.
Martin has long been interested in encouraging what she calls “frontline heroes” to perform at their best.
Ethos Farm consultancy was launched in 2017 and has offices in London and New York. Two years ago it was named Global Air Rail Technology Innovation of the Year; it was highly commended in 2018. It has also won the Frontier Award for Technology Innovators of the Year and the UK Digital Experience Silver Award in the Leisure and Tourism Category as well as being named a Top 10 UK New Business of the Year in the Lloyds Bank National Business Awards.
Christine Martin said: “For me this was the most natural decision … Ethos Farm Founder Sally Alington and I have known each other for many years with a mutual respect … I am hugely excited at what we can offer to the travel retail industry together.”
Ethos Farm CEO Sally Alington said: “It is both a privilege and an honour to welcome Christine to the Ethos Farm team. Her unrivalled knowledge of travel retail training combined with our expertise in enhancing frontline service delivery creates something unique.”
