IRELAND. Irish retailer Avoca has partnered with Aer Rianta International (ARI) to open its first travel retail store, at Dublin Airport Terminal 2.

The 86sq m store has been custom designed by Avoca and ARI subsidiary The Loop at Dublin Airport. It will offer a range of Irish-made products including ceramics, throws and craft fashion items. A selection of food will include organic salmon, fresh meats, jams and chutneys, oils and dressings, teas and coffees and baked goods such as Rice Krispie squares, rocky road buns and fresh fruit cakes.

“We are thrilled to be bringing the Avoca brand to Dublin Airport,” said Aer Rianta International Acting CEO Anthony Kenny. “Avoca shares our passion and commitment to creating memorable customer experiences in a luxury environment. This exciting new retail partnership delivers this, while also reflecting a unique Sense of Place within a busy international airport.”

Kenny noted that Avoca was a well-known brand in Ireland but would also appeal to international travellers. “Many of the 30 million passengers who travel through Dublin Airport annually will have already enjoyed visiting one of Avoca’s 12 stores around the country,” he said.

We are delighted to give passengers a peek inside the wonderful world of Avoca.”
