Interview: Achieving ‘world class New Zealand’ at Auckland Airport

NEW ZEALAND. “World class New Zealand is what we want to achieve. That means the best of the world but also the best of New Zealand. We are ambitious, we are hungry and that requires a constant focus on doing things better.” That’s how Auckland International Airport Chief Executive Adrian Littlewood outlines the strategy for growth at the gateway to New Zealand, in this video (below).

A snapshot of the latest commercial developments at Auckland Airport was presented at The Trinity Forum in September, as part of a series of films commissioned by The Moodie Davitt Report and produced by Peter Marshall’s Marshall Arts International for the event. Here we present the longer version of the Trinity film.

Auckland Airport General Manager, Retail & Commercial Richard Barker also features. He underlines how newness and innovation are helping to redefine the consumer offer, not least through new partners ARI and Lagardère Travel Retail.

“Quality destination products are key to this location, from health and wellbeing to wines, but we also have international brands that are rarely seen in New Zealand outside the airport,” says Barker.

These videos are also available also at www.airportdynamics.tv, with further long-form videos developed for The Trinity Forum to appear soon.
