UAE. Two Indian nationals and a Jordanian have been revealed as the latest Dubai Duty Free Finest Surprise winners.
The Dubai Duty Free Finest Surprise Draw was conducted today (1 August) by Chief Operating Officer Ramesh Cidambi, Executive Vice President – Commercial Nic Bruwer, Senior Vice President – Marketing Sinead El Sibai and Vice President – Purchasing Sharon Beecham in the presence of passengers and staff in Concourse B, Dubai International Airport.
Mr Sajeev Velappan Nair, a Dubai-based Indian national, who works as a project controller for a dredging company, won a Mercedes Benz S500 in Series no. 1660 with ticket no. 0672. He is a regular participant of the Finest Surprise promotion.
Mr. Joe George, who participated in the draw for the first time, was awarded a BMW R 1200 RS motorbike in Series 310 with ticket 0201. Mr. Mohd Dasouqi, a Jordanian national living in Sharjah, won a BMW motorbike model R 1200 GS Adventure in Series 311 with ticket 0424.
The latest Millennium Millionaire winner, Mr. Piao Ma, flew from The Netherlands to Dubai to attend today’s winner’s presentation. Dutch national Mr Ma bought his winning ticket no. 1722 online. He said: “Thank you Dubai Duty Free for this great surprise. I have been participating in the US$1 million draw since 1999 and was glad that my perseverance has paid off.”
