With profound sadness, we report the passing of Sng Bee Kuan {孙美娟女士}, a highly respected and much-loved member of the travel retail and beauty communities.
Bee passed on 23 March at just 56 years of age, after a long and courageous battle against cancer.
Her funeral takes place today (26 March) in Singapore.
Bee enjoyed a long and outstanding career in local and travel markets across Asia. She held several senior roles at Guerlain Asia Pacific from late 1989 to April 1996 before joining Estée Lauder Travel Retail Asia Pacific in Singapore, where she worked for almost 13 years.
Over the ensuing years she worked or consulted for several companies, including Bvlgari in Hong Kong, and in January of this year joined the Augustinus Bader Travel Retail APAC team just before her illness struck again. Her health deteriorated after Chinese New Year, leading to her passing this week.
