USA. It is with great sadness that we report the death of Renee Tedesco, Vice President of Business Development at Paradies Lagardère. She passed away over the weekend while exercising at home.
Renee took up her role with the North American travel retailer in September 2014 after leaving HMSHost, where she had been Vice President of Business Development.
Earlier in her career, she progressed to the role of Vice President, Properties and Airport Relations during a 17-year stint with Alamo and National Car Rental.
Paradies Lagardère President and CEO Gregg Paradies paid this tribute to Renee: “We are all shocked and saddened by this devastating news regarding our beloved co-worker and family member.
“Renee was a very special person and a friend to so many of us. She loved the Paradies Lagardère family culture, ‘walked the walk’ of our core values each and every day, and did an outstanding job during her almost eight years with our company.
“She was highly respected throughout our industry, in which she spent more than 31 years building relationships and enjoying many successes.
“As we are still processing this terrible news, our thoughts and prayers go out to Renee’s family and friends, especially her son, Massey. Renee will be missed dearly.”
