Imperial Duty Free reveals upgraded sunglasses store at Moscow Sheremetyevo

RUSSIA. Imperial Duty Free, the joint venture between Gebr Heinemann and Sheremetyevo Airport, has revealed an updated look for its 50sq m sunglasses store in Terminal D.

The Imperial Duty Free sunglasses shop is one of 23 managed by the joint venture in Terminal D, the only international terminal currently operating at Sheremetyevo

Heinemann noted in a LinkedIn post that it was “looking ahead even in times of crisis” and said the work had been completed in just four weeks. It added that the boutique “is brighter and more inviting than before, with a spacious entrance area, an attractive presentation of goods and backlit walls”.

The retailer said that sunglasses had become increasingly popular at Sheremetyevo: the share of sales from the boutique as a proportion of total sales in Terminal D has nearly doubled in the first few days since the reopening.

Terminal D is the only one of the airport’s four international terminals currently in operation. It houses 23 Imperial Duty Free shops.
