Imperial Brands has appointed Tobias Baude as Global Duty Free & Export Head of Corporate and Legal Affairs, effective from October.
Baude will join the management team, which is based in new Madrid headquarters, to oversee the promotion and protection of the tobacco company’s affairs in the duty free industry.
Imperial Brands Global Duty Free & Export Sales and Marketing Director Christian Münstermann said: “Tobias brings a wealth of knowledge to duty free. He joins us from Imperial AIT Systems & Strategy where he was working as a Senior Engagement Manager. Next to coding and tracking, Tobias has strong and profound experience in regulatory, compliance and engagement topics around the world.”
Imperial Brands Global Duty Free & Export Finance Director Andrew Heley added: “We are very happy to have Tobias on board for all future challenges and all the great opportunities in global duty free.”
As reported, Imperial Tobacco Head of Corporate Affairs and Compliance Dr. Jennifer Cords left the company earlier this year to pursue other opportunities.
