And what a symbolically joyous image today’s choice is. “The journey started today,” remarked Bahrain Duty Free Chief Executive Officer & Board Director Bassam Al Wardi, as the travel retailer celebrated the opening of its impressive retail offer within the equally impressive new Passenger Terminal Building at Bahrain International Airport yesterday. The new terminal ranks as one of the Middle East’s most ambitious aviation projects of recent years.

Amid all the gloom that has enshrouded the travel retail and aviation sectors over the past years, this was a rare day of celebration.
