Image of the day: Super-sized Chanel makes a big statement at Incheon Airport

Our daily feature celebrates memorable scenes, moments, launches and campaigns from the global aviation and travel retail sphere.

Today’s image is in fact a video clip, which shows a powerful advertising campaign, including a giant LED installation, from French beauty house Chanel at Incheon International Airport.

There are few brand houses in travel retail that communicate more effectively and more consistently than Chanel. This is a striking example of how Chanel has harnessed the power of airport advertising in a contemporary and impactful way.

Footnote: Do you have other great examples of airport advertising? Send them to Martin@MoodieDavittReport.com for inclusion in our planned new monthly e-Zine, Sight Lines – The Amazing World of Airport Advertising, launching in early 2019 in which we profile advertising and communication initiatives across world airports. Each issue will build to a very special culmination in 2019. For details contact Irene Revilla at Irene@MoodieDavittReport.com.
