Image of the day: Making an unconventional entry to The Daily DXB

Not exactly a smash and grab, more a case of smash and grub. This was the scene last week when senior executives from Lagardère Travel Retail and Dubai Airports officially opened the bespoke food concept The Daily DXB in Terminal 3.

Dispensing with the usual ribbon-cutting in favour of the more direct hammer-swing, the urban street food hall, celebrating global cuisine, was declared open.
