Image of the day: Lancôme puts Paris in the pink at St Pancras

Our daily feature celebrates memorable scenes, moments, launches and campaigns from the global aviation and travel retail sphere.

Pretty in pink: The installation will be lighting up the station until 4 January

UK. Today’s image of choice is impossible to miss for those catching the Eurostar from London to Mainland Europe over the festive period.

To accompany a Lancôme pop-up in St Pancras International Station, L’Oréal has installed a stunning 36-foot mock-up of the Eiffel Tower in the station’s concourse.

The luminescent installation is made up of 1,500 bottles of Lancôme’s La Vie Est Belle fragrance and 1,300 LED lights. The 1,500 bottles will be donated to international cancer support charity, Look Good Feel Better, after the installation is taken down.
