Our daily feature celebrates memorable scenes, moments, launches and campaigns from the global aviation and travel retail sphere.

The most curious time of the year: The installation will be in place until 7 January

UK. William Grant & Sons has brought a dash of the unusual to its festive snow globe activation for Hendrick’s in Heathrow Airport Terminal 3.

As well as brand ambassadors offering a Hendrick’s & Tonic or a Gin Buck, passengers are invited to turn ‘the key to curiosity’ underneath the snow globe. This will give them a cracker containing either a 5cl Hendrick’s bottle, a cucumber pin badge or a ‘Little Guide to Conjuring’ magic book.

In addition, one cracker each day for 11 days from 12 December will contain a rare stainless steel penguin pourer.

William Grant & Sons Global Travel Retail Head of Marketing Manjot Riyait said: “There has been a constant buzz of passengers around the globe, taking photos and enjoying a Hendrick’s and tonic, and we look forward to delighting many more happy travellers over what we expect to be a busy and fruitful festive period for global travel retail.”

The pop-up at Dufry’s World Duty Free store will be in place until 7 January.
