Image of the day: Flying fit at London Stansted

Our daily feature celebrates memorable scenes, moments, launches and campaigns from the global aviation and travel retail sphere.

UK. The passenger journey at London Stansted Airport has just got a whole lot more relaxing. The airport has launched a series of free pop-up yoga classes for travellers in partnership with London-based fitness brand FRAME.

The events schedule kicked off with three classes specially curated to provide a pre-flight routine to make passenger journeys as relaxing as possible. The techniques used also help to fend off health issues associated with flying such as Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT) and anxiety.

Manchester Airports Group-owned Stansted Airport said it wanted to make yoga accessible to everyone, with one to one sessions and advice from the instructors available between sessions. The pop-up event runs until 7 February.
