Image of the day: A chocolate celebration

UAE. Today’s image shows Al Nassma Director of Sales Patrick Dorais handing over a personalised ‘Brand Ambassador briefcase’ to Dubai Duty Free Executive Vice Chairman and CEO Colm McLoughlin on the occasion of the chocolate brand’s tenth anniversary.

The presentation of the ‘Colm’ branded briefcase was made at an Irish Business Network breakfast meeting earlier this month. It recognises McLoughlin’s, and Dubai Duty Free’s, efforts in helping to develop the chocolate brand.

Al Nassma is a UAE government-owned company and launched its camel milk chocolate domestically in 2008 and internationally the following year.

The brand sees the global duty free and travel retail channel as one of its core distribution pillars, and it has proved instrumental in building brand recognition worldwide.

“Travellers are increasingly looking for mementos of their journey as well as gifts for loved ones back home,” said Dorais. “Our research has shown that Al Nassma has indeed acquired a global following. Our aim is to become one of the world’s top ten confectionery brands in global travel retail.”
