Il Bisonte will present a new collection of handbags and wallets – created specifically with the Asian travel retail shopper in mind – at next week’s TFWA Asia Pacific Exhibition (Basement 2 H 23).

The Italian handbag and wallet specialist is a first-time exhibitor at the Singapore event. It said its new line meets the millennial demand for “authenticity, sustainable and ethical production plus on-trend style”.

Made with travellers in mind: Il Bisonte presents a new collection of handbags and wallets in Singapore.

Il Bisonte underlines its use of raw materials and sustainable and ecologically-sound production methods which include a vegetal tanning process of cowhide leather and the use of vegetable dyes. Its products are made by Florentine and Tuscan artisans, who are skilled in traditional methods.

“These qualities are especially important to the traveling millennial shopper looking for authenticity,” Il Bisonte said.

The new collection introduces contemporary designs and colours to Bisonte’s casual-chic style.

New colours and styles feature in the Il Bisonte collection.

Il Bisonte products are available in branded boutiques and 280 multi-brand stores worldwide. In the domestic market in Asia the company has boutiques in Hong Kong, Taipei and Jakarta, and boasts a strong footprint in Japan with 42 stores.

Il Bisonte CEO Sofia Ciucchi said: “Travel retail is an important channel for us and one that we are currently targeting, specifically in the Asian market. We see great opportunity in this channel and this region.”
