Ian Macleod Distillers to highlight innovation drive at Cannes

Ian Macleod Distillers is focusing on extensions to its spirits portfolio for the upcoming TFWA World Exhibition in Cannes (Red Village K22).

The company will reveal new products across gin, malt whisky and blended whisky categories, all intended to drive business forward in 2023.

Set to claim the Cannes spotlight: Introducing Orange & Basil from Edinburgh Gin

Dubbed as the ‘pioneer of flavoured gin’, Ian Macleod Distillers’ Edinburgh Gin will introduce a new Orange & Basil flavour, alongside the other full-strength gins and gin liqueurs.

Within its malts portfolio, the company is launching Shieldaig American Oak Reserve, a triple cask matured expression while its Highland single malt is presented in stand-out new packaging. The line-up also includes The Six Isles, a blended malt which combines liquids from six key whisky-producing islands: Skye, Arran, Mull, Islay, Orkney and Jura.

Details of a new Speyside single malt will also be revealed at the Cannes event where Ian Macleod Distillers will feature its full range of single malts which include Glengoyne Highland, Tamdhu Speyside, Smokehead Islay and Rosebank Lowland.

A highlight of the company’s updated Scotch whisky portfolio will be the refreshed King Robert II, rated as the top selling value blended Scotch in global travel retail. Three blends will be featured, including the first age-statement whiskies, with the King Robert II 8 Years Old exclusive to global travel retail.
