Hudson unveils F&B-focused Nonstop store at Nashville International Airport

USA. Dufry company Hudson today officially opened its latest 1,000sq ft Hudson Nonstop store at Nashville International Airport. This becomes the first Southeast US location for the Amazon Just Walk Out technology-powered retail concept.

In a departure from the hybrid food & beverage/retail offer of other Hudson Nonstop stores, this is the first shop from the brand to focus solely on to-go F&B.

Curated convenience: The new Hudson Nonstop store at Nashville International Airport leads on food and drinks

A variety of products from Hudson’s proprietary brand, Traveler’s Best, are prominently featured in the offer, along with a wide assortment of snacks, sandwiches and salads. Well-known Nashville products such as Goo Goo Clusters and Moon Pies, and Tennessee’s Jack Daniel’s sauces, are also available.

Travellers enter Hudson Nonstop stores by swiping their credit or debit card or hovering their palm over an Amazon One palm recognition device. Payment is taken from the card for any items bought on exit from the store.

Hudson SVP of Food & Beverage Evan Schut said: “We are continuing to see strong momentum with the growth of our grab and go business. This new Hudson Nonstop format is designed to make it easier than ever for travellers to get the best food and beverage products, while still providing them with the same quick and frictionless experience that Hudson Nonstop is known for.”

Fraport Tennessee Vice President Matt Jennings said: “We are pleased to introduce this exclusive offering in our programme at Nashville International Airport. With Hudson Nonstop’s focus on food and drinks, traveller favourites are within easy reach – snacks, sandwiches, salads, food gifts and more.”

He added: “Travellers can satisfy their cravings and enjoy local offerings at the airport with a simple swipe of their credit card or hovering of their palm. It’s the ultimate convenience and self-serve option for hungry fliers on the go.”

Hudson now operates more than 1,000 stores in airports, commuter hubs, landmarks and tourist destinations across North America.
