Hudson Nonstop expands network with opening at Los Angeles Airport T3

USA. Dufry company Hudson has opened the sixth Hudson Nonstop airport store, at Los Angeles International Terminal 3. It follows previous openings at Dallas Love Field, Chicago Midway, Nashville, Dallas Fort Worth and Chicago O’Hare airports.

Powered by Amazon’s Just Walk Out technology and Amazon One, Hudson Nonstop allows travellers to enter the store by inserting a credit card or hovering their palm over the Amazon One device. They can then take their travel essentials purchases and exit without having to attend a checkout.

Hudson Nonstop is growing its footprint across US airports, including at T3, the newest terminal at Los Angeles International, which serve Delta Air Lines

A Hudson statement on LinkedIn said: “Thank you to our local team members and ACDBE Partners for making this opening a success, as well as Amazon, Los Angeles World Airports and Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield.”

In September, Hudson announced it had been awarded two stores at Los Angeles International Airport’s new Terminal 3, which is dedicated to Delta Air Lines flights.

As part of a ten-year agreement with Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield (URW), Hudson is opening Hudson Nonstop and Evolve by Hudson stores.

The stores operate under HG LAX T3 Concessionaires JV, a joint venture between Hudson and its Airport Concessions Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (ACDBE) Partners Arandia Designs; Concourse Ventures, Inc.; MAJ Collection, Inc.; Nixon & Associates Inc.; Stewart Manhattan Investments, Inc. d/b/a Palazzo Concessions; and Zaman Group Inc.

The addition of Evolve and Hudson Nonstop to LAX T3 furthers Hudson’s expansion of two of its key in-house concepts, while growing Hudson’s retail footprint in the Los Angeles market. Hudson has over 40 stores in eight of the ten terminals at LAX, including Tom Bradley International Terminal (TBIT), which operates with the same ACDBE partners as LAX T3.
