Hudson extends hotel & casino resort presence with six stores at Virgin Hotels Las Vegas

USA. Dufry company Hudson has opened six stores covering over 4,000sq ft at the new-look Virgin Hotels Las Vegas, part of Curio Collection by Hilton, which officially opens today.

Concepts include 5th & Sunset, Brookstone, Chill by Hudson, Dunkin’, Hudson and SWAG. The stores are spread across the 1.27 million sq ft property, and are described by Hudson as the “retail focal points of the experience”.

“There is such an immense feeling of honour being the first retailer selected to operate at the stunning new Virgin Hotels Las Vegas, and the timing could not be more perfect as we begin to witness the rebound of travel,” said Hudson CEO Roger Fordyce. “As we continue to expand our presence across resort and luxury hotels, we remain committed to delivering retailing options that not only meet guests’ every need but that also go above and beyond to provide a world-class customer experience.”

Catering to the 24/7 environment of the casino, the stores offer guests a variety of payment options that prioritise speed and convenience. Each store is equipped with ‘charge to room’ capabilities, and in select stores, self-checkout kiosks also allow guests to take direct of their shopping experience.

The opening marks Hudson’s latest venture into the hotel space. In 2016, Hudson debuted The Atrium, a luxury multi-brand concept at The Venetian Resort Las Vegas.

5th & Sunset: A premium sunglasses and accessory store exclusive to Hudson, with leading brands such as Gucci, Kate Spade, Maui Jim, Oakley, Ray-Ban and more.

Brookstone: Offering leading brands in audio, entertainment, travel essentials and wellness products; the range includes Apple, Bang & Olufsen, Beats, Bose, Sony and more.

Chill by Hudson: Serving as a locally-inspired sundry shop, Chill by Hudson offers in-room necessities including over-the-counter medicines, grab & go snacks and beverages, books and magazines, and a selection of electronics.

Dunkin’: With signature coffees, fresh baked goods and healthy breakfast options.

Hudson: The essentials brand makes its official casino resort debut with this branded travel convenience concept. With four primary categories – Media, Essentials, Marketplace & Destination.

SWAG: A celebration of Las Vegas, this lifestyle destination concept features a selection of branded apparel, exclusive collectables, local delicacies and other items. The offer includes swimwear, fragrances and jewellery.
