Hong Kong International gets into the Christmas spirit with promotional campaign

HONG KONG. Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA) is celebrating the Christmas season with a number of festive promotions.

These include an instant rebate of HKIA Cash Coupons, a lucky draw and an interactive digital game.

From 2 December to 3 January, travellers spending over HK$5,000 (US$645) by electronic payment can redeem HKIA Cash Coupons worth up to HK$15,000 (US$1,934).

The airport said it was working with its retailers to provide travellers with shopping and dining offers. Full details are available when travellers scan the QR code on the promotion materials or visit the airport website.

Travellers spending over HK$1,000 (US$129) in a single transaction at HKIA can benefit from free local delivery. There is also a free delivery service to Mainland China (on clothing, bags and accessories) and to Indonesia, Macao, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam for travellers who spend HK$2,500 (US$322) or more in a single transaction.

A range of airport activities have also been launched. Travellers can create a Christmas themed GIF animation while HKIA’s mascot is dressing up in full Christmas attire for the period while greeting passengers in the shopping areas. A complimentary gift wrapping service is being offered at the Departures East Hall redemption counters.

Luxury watch brand Blancpain has created a Christmas display in the Departures East Hall, and Christmas tree installations also feature.
