Hong Kong International calls food & beverage and banking tenders

HONG KONG. Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA) has called tenders for six food & beverage licences at its Terminal 1 East Hall food court. Airport Authority Hong Kong described it “a unique business opportunity for food & beverage operators in this prestigious aviation hub in Asia”.

Vibrant variety: The licences on offer at the T1 food court

Spaces available range from 114sq m to 129sq m. Licences A and F (combined in a single unit) should offer Hong Kong-style cuisine (except dim sum), licence B should sell Chinese provincial cuisine, licence C will feature Southeast Asian fare, licence D comprises a Western food offer and licence E a menu of Japanese/Korean dining.

Bids close on 30 November.

The new F&B concessions will enhance the already impressive food offer at Hong Kong International

In other HKIA news, the airport company has called for offers for a new banking services concession in the T1 Arrivals Hall. The unit will be located in 323sq m of space. Bids are due by 28 November.

Yesterday The Moodie Davitt Report broke the news that Heinemann has been awarded the new confectionery concession at Hong Kong International, following a highly competitive open tender. Separately, Travelex and Spanish company Global Exchange have each been awarded a money exchange concession.
