HMSHost’s Sarah Naqvi named as one of 2017’s top technology leaders

NORTH AMERICA. HMSHost Executive Vice President and Chief Information Officer Sarah Naqvi has been named as one of 100 technology leaders for 2017 by a business technology media company.

Computerworld’s ‘Premier 100 Technology Leaders for 2017’ list acknowledges “exceptional technology leadership and innovative approaches to business challenges”.

HMSHost President and CEO Steve Johnson said Naqvi had made “an undeniable impact on the success of HMSHost’s business, driving the company’s position as a leader in the industry and going above and beyond to deliver impactful IT strategies”.

He added: “We are so proud of all her accomplishments as Chief Information Officer and are thrilled that she is being recognised among her peers for her accomplishments.”

Naqvi joined HMSHost in 2000 and has served in a number of IT roles. She has more than two decades of experience managing software development, network management, information security, business intelligence, point of sale, ERP solution, strategic initiatives and social presence.

In 2004, Naqvi was promoted to Vice President of IT, overseeing all IT development including expansion into Asia. In 2013, she became Corporate Vice President and Chief Information Officer and was appointed Executive Vice President in 2016.
