HMSHost agrees deal to operate Shake Shack restaurants across North American airports and motorways

USA. HMSHost has signed a partnership agreement with Shake Shack to develop new locations of the New York chain at airports and motorways in North America.

Autogrill subsidiary HMSHost will operate the new restaurants, with the agreement encompassing “multiple location openings over the next several years”. The first outlet has already opened at Los Angeles International Airport, in Terminal 3.

Shake Shack menus offer 100% all-natural Angus beef burgers, flat-top Vienna beef dogs and cage-free chicken sandwiches. The company says that it never adds hormones or antibiotics. The offer also includes spun-fresh frozen custard, crinkle cut fries, craft beer and wine.

HMSHost said its Shake Shack outlets will reflect the brand’s dining heritage, commitment to premium ingredients, and efforts to create fun and lively environments.

They will feature signature items such as the ShackBurger, the Smokeshack, the Chick’n Shack, and the ‘Shroom Burger. A breakfast menu will offer a selection of sandwiches.
