Hugo Ortega founded Hugo’s restaurant in Houston’s Montrose area in 2002. According to HMSHost, the restaurant quickly became part of the city’s ‘culinary spirit’.

The new outlet’s menu includes tacos de pescado estilo Baja (Baja style fish tacos), torta aguacate honogo y queso (Mexican sandwich with sautéed mushrooms and Oaxacan cheese), and the camarones encamisados (bacon-wrapped shrimp with cheese and jalapeño).

Tres leches and flan are available for dessert and the spirits list includes blanco, reposado, anejo, and extra anejo tequilas, as well as mezcal varieties.

Landry’s Seafood House has been in operation since 1947, and its first outlet opened in Texas in 1980. American entrepreneur Tilman Fertitta expanded the company to encompass a variety of brands with over 500 global locations, with Landry’s Seafood House regarded as one of the USA’s most iconic seafood brands.

The Terminal C outlet’s menu features calamari with marinara red pepper remoulade sauce, oysters on the half shell, Landry’s gumbo, and the ‘catch of the day’.

HMSHost also recently opened Cadillac Bar (also from Landry’s), Mockingbird Distillery and Café, Red Mango, Ray’s BBQ, Blaze Pizza, Umaizushi, Chick-fil-A, El Real, The Breakfast Klub Express, American Craft Tavern, and Starbucks at Houston George Bush Intercontinental Airport.
