GERMANY. Luxury swimwear brand Heidi Klein has partnered with Eurotrade to launch a three-month pop-up in Munich Airport Terminal 2. In travel retail, Heidi Klein is represented by strategic retail advisory consultancy Harper Dennis Hobbs (HDH).

Heidi Klein was founded by Heidi Gosman and Penny Klein in 2002 with the aim of offering well-made swimwear and holiday attire outside the summer season. The brand is known for its swimwear, resortwear and accessories.

Heidi Klein’s core range of swimwear, ready-to-wear and hats are available at the Munich Airport T2 store. Some product highlights include new releases from the brand’s summer 2022 range and its popular gold-detailed raffia bags.

“We have had the privilege of working with Heidi Klein for close to four years,” commented Harper Dennis Hobbs International Wholesale Director Jessica McGratty-Singer.

“Germany is a very strong market for Heidi Klein domestically with partners including MyTheresa and Breuninger. We are very pleased to see the brand launch their inaugural airport store at Munich Airport with Eurotrade. We would like to thank Eurotrade enormously with their partnership and for this opportunity.”

Heidi Klein will be a strong brand focus for Harper Dennis Hobbs at the upcoming TFWA World Exhibition and Conference in Cannes

Heidi Klein is currently available with DFS Group in Asia Pacific travel retail and with Harding onboard luxury cruise ships such as the Seabourn fleet. McGratty-Singer added, “We are going to be showing Heidi Klein at our stand in Cannes for the TFWA 2022 show and are planning to roll out to more strategic airports and cruise locations within the UK, Europe, USA and Asia.”

Commenting on the brand’s first pop-up at Munich Airport, Klein added: “We are thrilled with this pop up with Eurotrade in Munich Airport. This has certainly been on our wish list and we are grateful for this opportunity and delighted with the sales and feedback so far.”
