UK. Heathrow Airport has recorded two years of consecutive month-on-month growth in passenger numbers. Figures for October indicate an increase of +4.4%, with almost 7 million passengers travelling through the airport.
The airport company attributed the increase to larger and fuller aircraft. Passenger numbers from North America increased by +9.1% in October, while travellers from EU countries increased by +4.2%.
