Havaianas targets travel retail expansion in Asia Pacific

Havaianas will be present at the TFWA Asia Pacific Exhibition for the first time in Singapore next week (Basement 2, stand 2A03).

The brand offers flip flops, sandals, espadrilles, sunglasses, and accessories and is hoping to expand its presence in Asia Pacific travel retail.

Havaianas opened several doors in Asia Pacific in the first quarter of 2019, including at Jakarta Soekarno Hatta International, Phnom Penh International and Bali Ngurah Rai International airports.

Brazilian spirit: Havaianas is now present at Bali Ngurah Rai International Airport.

The brand said it was hoping to tap into the ‘bleisure’ trend, in which business travellers extend their corporate trips for leisure reasons, as well as growing passenger numbers in the Asia Pacific region.
