Hardy Cognac has appointed Alfa Brands as its exclusive agent for duty free and travel retail markets in Canada.
Alfa Brands President Franco Gabriele said: “We are delighted and honoured by this appointment, which adds such a prestigious, haute couture, elite brand as Hardy Cognac to our portfolio, underscoring our long-term commitment to grow our liquor category.”
Alfa is launching Hardy Cognac’s Legend, which is available in 700ml and 750ml, with 1-litre and 50ml bottles to follow, across Canadian markets.
Legend 1863 is described as a tribute to the Cognac world and to the Hardy’s family. Its bottle design features the brand’s rooster symbol. The Cognac is said to combine the elegance of Champagnes with the delicacies of Borderies; on palate it offers tastes of citrus and coffee cappuccino with hints of vanilla, with a long finish.
