Halewood adds to portfolio with new Whitley Neill flavoured gins and Dead Man’s Fingers rum

Halewood Wines & Spirits revealed new Whitley Neill flavours and a newly acquired rum brand, Dead Man’s Fingers, at the TFWA World Exhibition earlier this month.

Whitley Neill has added Aloe & Cucumber Gin and Parma Violet Gin to its range of unusually flavoured gins.

Aloe & Cucumber is one of the latest additions to Whitley Neill’s popular range of flavoured gins.

Other flavours in the range include Rhubarb & Ginger, Blood Orange, Raspberry, Quince and Lemongrass & Ginger. These are full-strength flavoured gin variants.

As with the other flavours in the range, the Aloe & Cucumber Gin and Parma Violet Gin will be launched into travel retail worldwide in channel-exclusive one-litre bottles.

Halewood hopes to continue Whitley Neill’s “major advances” in travel retail over the last year with new additions such as the Parma Violet flavoured gin.

The Whitley Neill range also includes the brand’s original Handcrafted Dry Gin, which Halewood said is “selling fast in travel retail in the UK and across Europe.”

At the TFWA event in Cannes Halewood also showcased a new acquisition, Dead Man’s Fingers rum.

The small batch spiced rum is described as a blend of Caribbean rums with an “exceptionally smooth” taste. It features notes pf saffron cake, sweet sherry, caramel, vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg and orange.

The Whitley Neill flavoured gins are available in travel-exclusive one-litre bottles. The full-strength spirits feature unusual tastes such as quince or lemongrass & ginger.

Halewood Managing Director Global Travel Retail Simon Roffe commented: “Our debut at TFWA World Exhibition last year lit the fuse under Whitley Neill gins and the brand has really taken off in travel retail.”

Roffe added that the brand has “achieved major advances” in the channel in Europe, Asia and North America, and that the next step was to “set up distribution globally with the major international retailers.”

Look out for an interview with Halewood’s Simon Roffe coming soon on The Moodie Davitt Report.
